And if you don't want to pause all that much, but just don't want the option entirely stripped away from you, I'm sure you'll get used to doing more things at once over time. I'd really encourage you to just have fun playing how you'd prefer. (And we compensate by generally just being much cleverer than the AI at flanking and what not).Īnyways, I'm not all that wound up. The AI can handle doing everything at once in a way that we simply aren't able to. But unless you're having fun dealing with enforced restrictions (and it sounds like you're not), there's really nothing wrong with this. in as much as it's easier to handle things one at a time, handle things when paused, or handle things when on slow-motion. I sincerely think you'll have more fun.Īs far as being the easy way out it is. There's just so many people who stick to playing on restrictions (tied into forced non-pausing in this case)/legendary for no reason other than that they feel they should, and I can't understand why they go about this. I suppose mine came across more negatively than intended as well. I know it's not a rant or anything negative. Sorry for winding you up so much that you question the very reason for posting on an open forum. Woaah! Did you miss the intended tone of my post? It was intended to be a light hearted query on pausing the game (because I was about to start a new campaign and was considering something different) not a rant, not a game-breaker snarl, not an attack on CA.and nothing to do with camera restricitions. I'm sure you have the will power to avoid using it without having the game force that on you. That said, no time to start adjusting like the present if that's what you want. It's certainly not necessary, although it might take you a little bit of an adjustment period. I think it's just a matter of weaning yourself off of it if you've had a history of using it as a crutch. So I don't know why this is even an issue. So - if you either like or don't care about the restrictions, keep them up.

I'm pretty sure 95% (made up stat, feel free to replace with "a vast majority") of players could deal with camera restrictions if they wanted to. They don't really make things much harder. I can't tell why you'd even ask people about this. Tell your ego to shut up and play on the difficulty you have the most fun with.
